Local councils play such a critical role in everyday life. They're often the most visible and accessible level of government, responsible for delivering essential services, supporting local economies and holding communities together. That becomes even more important in rural and regional areas, where councils are not just service providers, but a central part of community stability and connection.

My experience working alongside local government showed me that there's often a gap in the type of support available. Too much of it is either overly theoretical or not aligned to the realities of how councils actually operate day-to-day. I wanted to create something different — something more practical, more grounded, and genuinely useful.

Our focus is on providing clear, structured and practical solutions that strengthen internal capability without adding unnecessary complexity. I'm passionate about building strong, trusted partnerships and working alongside councils and government-related entities, to navigate workforce challenges in a way that is sustainable, compliant and tailored to their environment.

At its core, The Local Government Alliance exists to support the people behind local government, so they can continue doing the essential work that keeps our communities running.
